So after a week of having many more offers to take over as founder than I expected for how inactive the group has been, the new Twilestia found has been chosen and it is :iconakeahi:!

The funny thing is because this group had been so quiet :iconakeahi: had actually spent some time running a Twilestia group of her own, so she'll be coming into our founding position with experience already.

I'm sure the rest of you fans of this wonderful pairing are just as excited as I am that we're going to have an actually active group again!  I will now be moving my position down to a regular member, so thank you and good luck to :iconakeahi:!

Now I shall return to the abyss that is finals week.
I'm sure none of you in this group know me because my job when I joined this group as co-founder was strictly to accept any submitted Twilestia art and do nothing else, which I was happy to do.  Our group's founder, LightDasher, just wanted me to be there to accept submitted art before the acceptance window closed.  LightDasher was a busy person and couldn't always check the group's art in time to catch everything.

Well, over the past few years things have been pretty quiet for this group, I wasn't accepting much submitted art and honestly was so busy myself I didn't really think much of it.  Then two days ago I was just randomly taking a look at our group's front page and our founder's icon looked like this :iconlightdasher:  I thought that was odd, clicked the link and oh my gosh our founder's account is deactivated!

...and has been for several years now.

I'm so very sorry group members!  I honestly did not know we were spending all this time with no founder, I just thought they were being...quiet.  Or really busy.  Or something.

So, I sent a message to DeviantArt support about our deactived founder, got bumped up to the founder position myself, and am now posting this journal to find a new founder for this group that is not me!  Clearly I'm not the best person to handle this group, so I'm hoping a Twilestia fan will be interested in taking over this group and get it back to actually running again!

I'll continue to accept art in the meantime and even try to look for new Twilestia art to request be added to the group, but I do run my own different MLP-related group on top of work and horrible college classes so I will not have the time to take on running another group.

Anyone who would be interested in becoming our new founder, please send me a note to let me know!
who's submitted, joined, modded and watched this group, while I don't post blog entries every single day, we do round up Twilestia.

Also question for those who watch, should I make a separate folder for fanfictions?
I can't be on the pc all the time. as such, I may miss some/a lot of submissions and by the time I notice them, they'll have expired~

Post in the comments below, I'd rather have someone with experience.
